We are students of GCTE (Government College of Teacher Education) Trivandrum, Kerala.

We began a new journey and through this blog we are trying to capture and share those beautiful moments with the world.

Government College of Teachers Education, Thycaud, Thiruvananthapuram is the only Government College of Teacher Education in Southern Kerala. The College is affiliated to the University of Kerala.

There are eleven optional subjects and total class strength of first year B.Ed. is 55.

11 Optional Subjects are

Malayalam Hindi Tamil English Sanskrit Commerce Physical Science Natural Science Mathematics Social Science Geography

Our class timing is from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm. Each day begins with a morning assembly. Our class is divided into 9 groups and each day one group has to conduct assembly. So, each student gets an opportunity to be on the stage and face the audience which consists of teachers, B.Ed, and M.Ed students. . Assembly is conducted in the general hall classroom.
